About Coral8 Developer Edition
The Coral8 Developed Edition download has a free license which allows any programmer to develop, evaluate and test CEP applications using all features of the Coral8 Engine. The license for the Coral8 Developer Edition is not for production deployment.
The Coral8 Developer Edition download is limited to run on a single core of a system (it will run on a system with multiple cores, only using one of the cores). The purpose of the single core limitation is solely to encourage interactions with the Coral8 technical team when running performance tests or benchmarks. Any developer may easily obtain a free multi-core Coral8 Developer Edition license by contacting Coral8 Support.

Coral8 Engine
The Coral8 Engine is a large product, so may we suggest that you start your evaluation at the Getting Started Tutorial once you download the Coral8 Server and the Coral8 Studio. Please see Installation Instructions for more information on how to install Coral8 Engine.

Coral8 Portal
The Coral8 Portal provides an easy-to-use environment for business users to access, personalize, execute and visualize dynamic queries on real-time data. The Portal is seamlessly integrated with the Coral8 architecture, allowing you to extend any existing or new Coral8 application directly to business users. Please refer to the Coral8 Portal Guide for more information on this product. You can also use Installation Instructions to learn more about how to install Coral8 Portal. In order to use the Coral8 Portal, you will also need to download and install the latest Coral8 Server and Studio version.

Microsoft Excel RTD Output Adapter
The Coral8 RTD (Real-Time Data) Adapter for Excel allows you to integrate realtime data streams from Coral8 Server into your Microsoft Excel worksheets. The Coral8 Excel Adapter is an RTD server that subscribes to real-time Coral8 streams and returns the data to cells in the Excel worksheet.

Coral8 Eclipse Plug-in
The Coral8 Eclipse Plug-in allows developers to use the Eclipse IDE to develop and run Coral8 applications. The Eclipse plug–in is distributed as an open source project and can be downloaded at the Coral8 plug–in SourceForge project.
